Hi, I’m Eric Adams. I help leaders bring structure to chaos and turn operational complexity into clear, executable strategy.
I’ve spent 20+ years working with companies ranging from startups to $100M+ businesses—as both a full-time and fractional COO, business analyst, strategic advisor, and the person you call when things are moving too fast to keep track.
Across that span, I’ve been brought in to lead through uncertainty, untangle cross-functional confusion, and help organizations regain control when growth, change, or pressure outpaces structure. I’ve stabilized post-acquisition chaos, rebuilt planning and reporting processes from the ground up, and helped executive teams reconnect strategy to execution with tools they actually use. My work has supported company pivots, due diligence under pressure, and leadership realignment in environments where no one had time to pause—but they couldn’t afford to stall.
Earlier in my career, I spent more than a decade as a technology consultant, working with emerging platforms to solve business problems across industries. I supported clients from scrappy startups to Fortune 100s—Microsoft, MasterCard, and others—helping them apply new technologies to unlock business value. That foundation sharpened my systems thinking and gave me a hands-on understanding of how tools and data can work together—or fail to. It also means I’m not afraid of technology—I speak fluently with developers, analysts, and executives alike.
Some highlights:
Built a forecasting engine used to guide a $40M business pivot and successful acquisition
Retained 90% of revenue while managing operations for a 300+ person division through COVID
Integrated six data systems (CRM, GL, ATS, Excel, etc.) into a real-time dashboard suite used daily by executive teams
Led due diligence response for acquisition by a global holding company—coordinated over 700 information requests and moved the deal from LOI to ready-to-close in 45 days
Created KPI frameworks and built operating rhythms—check-ins, dashboards, and checklists—that helped CEOs stay aligned with their teams while scaling
My strength isn’t in a job title—it’s in making sense of complexity, fast. Whether it’s clarifying who’s doing what, bringing visibility to what’s working (or not), or turning scattered tools into a decision system, I thrive in environments where strategy and operations need to reconnect.
Most of my work is behind the scenes: translating ambiguity into traction, helping teams align, and giving founders and execs the tools to lead without burning out.
I’m based in Southern Oregon and available for fractional, interim, or short-term engagements—especially where clarity is missing, execution is lagging, or growth is outpacing structure.
If that sounds like your world, I’d be glad to talk.
